Small Group Tutoring

Sometimes two is better than one. While some students thrive in solitary environments, others excel in small group settings. Synapse Tutoring Co. offers small group sessions of no more than 6 students, enrolled in the same class. This is a great option for those who flourish in a collaborative learning environment. Two skills vital for academic success are time management and organization. Dr. Fulford has created tools to help students develop these skills and are optimized when combined with private tutoring sessions. Synapse Tutoring Co. offers the following resources in addition to tutoring sessions:

  • Weekly outlines.

    • You will receive a comprehensive outline each week detailing tasks for each day in order to keep up with your coursework. Outlines are as detailed as possible to include tasks from each course you are enrolled in, regardless of whether you are receiving tutoring services for those courses.

  • Test/Exam Study Guide Outlines.

    • Test-specific study outlines are solely focused on preparing you for one upcoming exam. These plans will outline each day prior to the exam with tasks to ensure that all the information is reviewed prior to exam day. Every outline has built-in catch-up time to account for time management issues.

  • Final exam Study Guide Outlines.

    • Stressed about finals? Sign up for the Final Exam Study Outline and receive a detailed study plan to ensure that all material is covered, and you feel confident going into the test! These outlines are similar to test/exam outlines, but specific for cumulative finals at the end of each semester.
